All of our large format scanning is completed at 600DPI, and standard book scans are completed at 300DPI. We can scan books up to 600DPI for an additional surcharge.

Non-Destructive Book Scanning
Understanding Our Non-Destructive Book Scanning Pricing
Non-Destructive book scanning incorporates several essential pre and post-scanning processes, which establish a base cost for our services. Additionally, we offer price reductions for larger volumes, utilising various factors that lead to a range of per-page prices from as low as 49p up to 60p (assuming maximum A3 page size).

Why is book scanning more expensive than normal scanning?
At PreservaScan, we understand the value of preserving your books in their original condition. Unlike some competitors who may compromise the integrity of your books by removing bindings for machine scanning, we employ high-end, specialised book scanners that require manual page turning. This meticulous approach ensures that each page is carefully handled and that your books are returned to you exactly as you entrusted them to us, all while delivering the highest quality scans possible.
